Telling the Ancestors' Stories: The Families of South Asheville
In the spring of 2023, Dr. Holmes Pearson’s “Out of the Archives: Adventures in Digital History” class conducted research on two families whose loved ones were interred in the South Asheville Cemetery. They created ArcGIS Story Maps based on their research. Links to those projects are to the right. Dr. Bradbury’s Intermediate Interactive media students teamed up with the Digital History students to create AR and VR projects that were displayed in a Pop-Up Exhibit at the end of the semester.
